Baked Apples with Vanilla Sauce
Christmas is just around the corner, and with it come everyone's favorite baked apples. When it comes to baked apples, it is always the filling that makes the difference!
We have the best recipe for a baked apple filling that simply has to be part of Christmas. With a variety of nuts, marzipan and other treats, the oven-baked apples taste simply heavenly. Served with homemade vanilla sauce, they are an unforgettable treat on cold Christmas days.

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 °C (fan oven) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Wash the apples, cut off the tops and core them.

Mix the filling ingredients and stuff the apples with it, then put the tops back on slightly offset.

Bake on the middle rack for 20 minutes.

Heat the vanilla milk, mix the cornstarch with a little milk and add it, then stir in the agave syrup.

Simmer the sauce for 3 minutes while stirring and serve it with the baked apples!
